I had the privilege of taking several of our boy scouts on a north shore eco tour. Our guide Noah was very knowledgeable in Hawaiian culture and it's native plants. We enjoyed the 4WD tour and the hike down to the mountain streams (taking a moment to cool off in several pools) and up to the plateau with a view few every see! The No #1 reason to book a tour with north shore eco tours is your tour will have exclusive use of the trails, streams, and everything you do on your tour. Enjoy!

Mahalo e EcoTours. Let EcoTours take your hui for a hike into the mountains. If you can walk up and down a long flight of stairs without effort, you can do this, too. Experience nature up close and beautiful.

Loved this tour! The two of us headed out on the "Piglet" with Keola, who was just a super guide! He knew EVERYTHING about Hawaiian culture, history, agriculture, and was very open and willing to share it. We were so impressed with his knowledge that near the end of the tour we asked him if this was his full-time job. No, he said, his full-time job is at the University of Hawaii where he's an instructor in Hawaiian Studies! No wonder he knew so much. We loved his tour, and we loved the Piglet. We learned more from him than we could possibly remember - so we'll be back! Thanks so much.

To Everyone Who Will Listen! I want you to know that this is the best group that I have EVER been associated with, and I have been on several trips to other countries. I booked online while I was in Honolulu and had only a few days to be in the area. I thought they had made a terrible mistake as I had driven for 1.5 hours on the day I thought I had booked and no one was there. After my calling and expressing my concern, they actually called in Keola to give me a tour. It was not until an hour before my newly scheduled tour that I re-read my email confirmation and found that "I" was the one who had made the mistake. I had no idea that I would be the only one on the tour!! They were so very gracious and still allowed me to have the tour, even bringing a veggie sandwich that I had requested!!!! Keola did not act as if he were angry or hurried in any way. I am sure NO other company would have been so kind and professional. Please give every bit of support to this wonderful organization; you will learn an amazing amount of things about Hawai'i and the rich culture from a wonderful native Hawaiian. The tour is beautiful, INCREDIBLY informative and worth any effort it takes to get there. North Shore EcoTours-YOU ARE AMAZING! Thank you seems trite, but - THANK YOU!!!

Spent New Year's Day in one of the most beautiful valleys on Oahu. Strawberry guavas line much of the trail, which make for great snacking along the way. You'll be crossing a "national geographic" like stream many times before reaching your final destination where lies a large freshwater pool for swimming in. Make sure to wear one of your junky pair of shoes though, because much of the trail is damp and wet. Best part is,...your trusted guide will entertain you with many stories in Hawaiiana, which makes for a very unique experience.
